The blast occurred on Friday at the beachfront Hotel Saratoga, according to government media.

It ripped through multiple storeys.

The blast killed four people and injured nineteen others.

The Cuban news agency ACN shared photographs of the Saratoga in Havana being severely damaged and dust clouds pouring into the sky.

According to its website, the five-star, 96-room hotel in Old Havana offers two bars, two restaurants, and a rooftop pool.
