A 46 years old detective dies inside Sydney police station

An extensive inquiry has been launched following the discovery of a detective dead inside a Sydney police station.

At noon on Monday, the death of a 46-year-old detective sergeant was found inside Ermington Police Station in Sydney’s southwest.

The officer was working for a specialised command at the time.

According to NSW Police, there are no eerie circumstances surrounding the man’s passing.

The Professional Standards Command and the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission will both receive reports in response to the death.

The 46-year-death old is the subject of a report that is presently being written for the coroner.
