89 MORE migrants with positive COVID tests are bused into New York City

Today, New York City received another busload of 89 immigrants from Texas, including one family with a one-year-old toddler.

The man’s wife was left in Texas, while their grandmother was taken to San Antonio in the other way.

Castro voiced worry about ‘how they get there,’ since some of the passengers were ultimately traveling to other final destinations such as Chicago and Florida.

‘Clearly, they are not receiving the help that they need in Texas,’ Castro said, adding that the migrants were ‘exhausted and fatigued.’

He further said that individuals being bused out of Texas were given releases to sign but were not given copies of them.

‘Using humans as political pawns is horrible,’ Castro remarked.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott started busing undocumented migrants to New York City last week in a symbolic protest of President Joe Biden’s decision to discontinue a deadly program that lets border officials to more readily block unlawful border crossings.

New York has declared itself a sanctuary city for illegal migrants, refusing to assist with immigration agents on deportation or detention issues. Adams branded Abbott’s scheme ‘irresponsible’ for exploiting human beings as a ‘political tactic’ on Tuesday.

He also threatened to shuttle New Yorkers to Texas to canvass for Abbott’s gubernatorial opponent, Beto O’Rourke.

‘I have phoned all of my Texas friends and informed them how to vote,’ Adams added. “I’m really considering sending a busload of New Yorkers to Texas to conduct some good old-fashioned doorknocking, because we need to get him out of office for the sake of America.’

He has earlier described Abbott’s program as “horrible.”Over the weekend Abbott bused a 100-plus undocumented migrants from Texas to New York City so that they could use city support servicesAsylum-seekers wait to be transported by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, agents after crossing the Rio Grande river into the U.S. from Mexico, at Eagle Pass, Texas, U.S., July 26. “It’s unthinkable to come to this country for the first time and have someone attempt to kick you out, as Texas’ governor is doing,’ Adams said. ‘I believe he is reckless.’ I don’t believe he’s making any progress. The Statue of Liberty is there for a purpose. We were all born someplace… I don’t believe he’s doing anything other than revealing the sort of person he is.’

Adams’ press office said that they could not comment on the mayor’s political ambitions and emphasized that the mayor previously stated that this was something he was considering.

'Clearly in Texas they are not being given the support that they need,' said Castro, who added the migrants were 'exhausted and tired'
