53 different products are being recalled by Lyons Magnus

53 different products are being recalled by Lyons Magnus, a producer of coffee and nutritional drinks, due to potential bacterial contamination.

Aloha, Oatly, Stumptown, Glucerna, Premier Protein, among other brands, are on the list of products that have been recalled.

The Food and Drug Administration claims that the items, which were sold across the country, may contain the bacteria Cronobacter sakazakii.

Although Cronobacter infections are uncommon, they are more likely to happen in weak and immunocompromised populations, according to the FDA.

According to the organisation, common symptoms include fever, vomiting, and urinary tract infection.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Cronobacter can also result in sepsis or meningitis in more serious situations.

The FDA states that the recalled products “did not meet commercial sterility specifications.”

But as of now, the organisation reported, it has not received any reports of illnesses or complaints connected to the recalled products.

The FDA advised against consuming recalled goods and advised against returning them to the retailer for a refund or throwing them away.
