38-year-old accused of murdering man in Houston and leaving kid

A 38-year-old man is in arrest after it is claimed that he killed a man in Houston by shooting him, then stole his vehicle, leaving the kid inside to perish.

The suspect’s identify will be made public after murder and tampering with evidence charges are filed, according to Houston police.

At 1:46 on Tuesday, police were notified of a gunshot in the area of El Camino Del Rey Street and Chimney Rock Road in west Houston.

When they got there, they discovered a 38-year-old man who had been shot to death.

When a lady phoned the police later that day at 6:30 p.m. to report that her husband and their 2-year-old boy were missing, detectives later discovered that her husband was the earlier gunshot victim.

According to Houston Police Executive Assistant Chief Larry Satterwhite, “We never heard about the youngster until she contacted.”

Police searched for the missing vehicle and discovered it almost 10 miles from the shooting location. They discovered the youngster was trapped inside.

When an ambulance was needed, the police busted the windows open and started doing CPR on the youngster.

It was sadly too late. Satterwhite said that the infant had died in the automobile. ‘At this moment, we are unsure of the cause of death, including its why, how, and what. We have no idea, but it may be something like heat fatigue. Later, an autopsy will be performed to determine that.

It’s the most difficult thing we do, he said. Children are defenceless.

According to Satterwhite, it’s likely that the carjacker abandoned the vehicle where it was discovered and locked the youngster inside.

According to him, an altercation between the victim and the suspect occurred when they were meeting.

They said the perpetrator may have drawn a revolver, shot the victim several times, and then driven off in the automobile.

A black man wandering through a convenience shop with black shorts, a white t-shirt, and an Oakland Raiders baseball hat was the subject of surveillance film.
