After a three-month-old infant boy was struck by a piece of mud thrown from scaffolding, police are looking for three boys, aged between 10 and 14.
The three youngsters are said to have scaled scaffolding to reach a roof, where they gathered moss lumps and other garbage before throwing it at onlookers below.
Fortunately, the infant suffered just minor injuries in the event that took place in Horsham, West Sussex, on Monday night.
‘Officers have started an appeal after a three-month-old infant was wounded in Horsham,’ a Sussex Police spokesperson said today.
On Monday, September 19, at about 6.30 p.m., it is claimed that the victim was struck by a huge clump of moss and mud that fell from a roof on West Street.
“According to a complaint, three young people were seen mounting a scaffold to reach the roof before tossing moss to those below. Thankfully, the infant did not suffer any significant wounds.
Three boys were spotted fleeing the scene on foot in the direction of Swan Walk after the incident. A youngster between the ages of 10 and 12 with blonde hair and a grey tracksuit is the first suspect.
The second suspect is a lad, 14 years old, with short hair on his sides and back. The third suspect is a child between the ages of 10 and 14 with short hair who is seen wearing a black sports shirt and long black pants.
