According to GB News, one of the victims suffered a stab wound to the neck.

On a route that was closed off earlier today, officers and forensic teams have been photographed.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers, who is overseeing the investigation into the murder, stated, ‘This is a really disturbing occurrence that has left one young man dead and another fighting for his life in the hospital.

During this difficult time, my thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends.

“I also want to reassure them and the broader community that my team and I are working around the clock to determine precisely what occurred and who is accountable.”

I would appreciate it if anyone who witnessed this incident or has information that could aid our investigation would get in touch with us.

This follows a string of attacks in Lawless London as pressure rises on Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to further combat the plague of knife crime, which has skyrocketed over the past year as the United Kingdom has emerged from the Covid pandemic.

Mr. Khan stated on social media shortly after the news of the stabbing broke: “Violent crime breaks apart families and communities.” Violence has no place in London, and I am determined to combat both the many roots of violence and violence itself. Prevention and early intervention are essential for keeping London safer for everyone.”

However, it is unclear whether he was responding to the most recent incident in London.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has been under criticism following a spate of attacks in the capital over the previous year.

Mr Khan turned to social media soon after news surfaced of the Bow stabbings, however it is not clear whether his Tweet was related

Six alleged murders occurred in London within four days in August, including the fatal stabbing of 87-year-old veteran charity fundraiser Thomas O’Halloran while he was riding his mobility scooter.

Multiple others have been stabbed or shot in the capital in recent weeks, prompting opposition lawmakers to call on the mayor to do more.

Before reversing his position 24 hours later, Mr. Khan had attempted to justify the high crime rates in London by attributing them to longer days, school vacations, and summer heatwaves.

But he later stated, ‘One homicide is one too many, and one victim of crime is one too many, but I feel like I’ve had one hand tied behind my back for the past six years due to austerity.

“We’ve lost 21,000 officers, and the government has announced that it will replace them with 20,000 when our population increases.

Because of the government’s decision, cuts have been made to youth workers, youth programs, after-school clubs, and council services, and Londoners are caught in the crossfire.
